Showcasing Anna’s portraits of the Jurassic Coast

We’re delighted to welcome the works of talented Colyton artist Anna Brewster to The Old Bakehouse.

Anna, who paints and teaches at the nearby Umborne Bridge Studio, specialises in land and seascapes as well as still life. Her mixed media work is watercolour, followed by acrylic, pencils and then finally a soft pastel layer on top to deliver bold textures.

We’re thrilled to be able to showcase some of Anna’s fantastic work to guests in our dining room. The paintings are part of Anna’s Jurassic Coast series, an ongoing project that will eventually cover the entire Jurassic Coast over the next few years.

You can buy Anna’s paintings and prints at her website: www.annabrewster.com, or check out her social media on Facebook @annabrewsterart or on Instagram @sidmouthskies.

You can also enjoy Anna’s artwork when you book a stay at The Old Bakehouse. Choose from one of our four en-suite bedrooms. Just go to the ‘book your stay’ section of our website colytonbakehouse.com to see availability and price.
