The Cottage is a pet friendly house, with dog baskets and blankets provided as well as towels to wipe those muddy paws after long country walks.
Outside is parking for one car in the courtyard. There is also access to a landscaped patio for outdoor dining.
For those with electric cars, Colyton now has two EV chargers at the Dolphin Street car park in the town centre, about 100 metres from the cottage. The units can reportedly rapid charge 80 per cent of battery power in around 40 minutes.
